the time is always now.
not just a big hoo-ha pretending something concrete is happening just to placate the important people at home (or outside) whom they know will eventually forget the seriousness and urgency of the matter, like they did before. then everyone can go on eating their dinners: the result of everybody thinking everybody else is supposed to be doing their job.
most blatant of all are the people in this alien nation.
