it wasn’t that long ago when we were still trying to find secret stairways (that happened to be pitchblack for 4 storeys) to enter the main hall over at jurong west. it wasn’t that long ago either when the posters “the future is ours” were hung all over at joo chiat and we believed it without having to face directly how real that statement meant. now, like it or not, standing at the crossroads of life, the future is in our hands.
