yeah, it’s an old thought, nicely phrased by plato tho. i think the question doesn’t intend to divide the two and so agreed: they aren’t mutually exclusive. i think it intends to question which is the causation of the other. and while that sounds like a pretty fruitless exercise, as chicken and egg, it raises serious implications on the origins of both, regardless of one’s answer.
haha i thought of this before. i think the statements aren’t mutually exclusive; because goodness is innate in God’s nature, it can be both.
