i just read a blogpost on AidWatch on sweatshops and it’s thread of comments and I think Economics really could afford to be made more accessible to the layman, because so much of it gets lost in this hightower jargon. I really wish economists were better able to do themselves and their discipline more justice in defending their arguments.

Anyways, about the life that is not lived in my head: I kinda wonder how what I’m doing this year departs from what I’ve done last year. I am so terribly excited and worried all at the same time.
