Check this fb status out. I think there is an art to ‘listening’ that the PAP has not yet mastered. CSJ here knows how to look like he’s taking feedback seriously. Compare this with the SG conversation, where the PAP wrote down feedback, and oftentimes with condescension explained that they will consider it. IN reality, they may both treat feedback equally seriously (or not seriously), but the way they communicate it is oceans apart.

Hi, everybody. I spent most of the weekend quietly with my family and had a good rest. It’s been an intense past week and yesterday was a day with a bit of much welcomed downtime.

I want to thank you for your messages of good wishes and continued support. They mean a lot to me. Like most of you, I’ve been looking at the results and trying to make sense of it. I’ll write my thoughts at some point over the next few days.

One thing that many of you have pointed out is that the SDP and WP should work closer together to present a more coordinated opposition strategy and message at the next GE. Given the outcome of the polls, I think so too. I’ll discuss the idea with my CEC colleagues when we meet later this week. Will keep you posted.

Again, thank you all for your unwavering support. We lost but we gained.” – CSJ
